Hafu Film is a documentary made by filmmakers Megumi and Lara documenting experiences of half Japanese people living in Japan. For 15 months, Hafu Film followed me around, capturing my life in Japan. From working to partying, cooking to hanging out with my family, Hafu Film has been there.
Below are some stills from my part of the documentary…
Sometimes it was lots of fun, sometimes it was quite difficult, but overall it was an experience which I’m so happy to be a part of. The film should come out next year and they’re currently looking for donations to help them get the film off the ground.
Have a spare couple of yens/dollars? Why not donate a couple of them to Hafu Film? They need help to cover the costs editing, sound mixing, colour, music and they’re hoping to raise US $10,000 in order to do so. I know they, and myself, would be very grateful! Donate here.
