Being sick is no fun. The week before last I wasn’t feeling all that amazing, but that didn’t really stop me from eating. Even if I couldn’t really taste anything.

Lots of delicious dishes...

I finally went to Chat Thai! Check out my blog post.

California Burrito Company. Sometimes you just really, really want a burrito.

California Burrito Company – Prawn burrito. I usually only get half size burritos, but this time I got full size. Good lord it was huge! And I nearly finished the whole thing. :/

Delicious yum cha spread.

It was so hard to get to Palace Chinese in Picadilly on ANZAC Day! There was a lot of underground walking and back tracking but we got there in the end. And, there was no waiting! Yesssss.

Getting better at making scones!

When I am bored I bake. So I baked more scones. I’m getting way better at it!

Vegetarian curry from Maya Da Dhaba.

Thursday I was very much over being sickly so decided to make myself feel better with Indian take out from Maya Da Dhaba (only $18.90 for a meal for 2! Bargain!)

Collagen and rose water shabu shabu.

Saturday night I decided to brave the city and go to this Taiwanese restaurant called “The Meeting Point” in Haymarket. They serve this pretty cool collagen and rose petal shabu shabu which was delicious and was healthy. Winner! Afterward, we went to the new Wagaya Lantern and sung karaoke for 2 hours. Nice.

Best charcoal chicken EVER.

My friend said “you have not lived until you have been to El Jannah.” She was right. Do yourself a favour and go out to Granville and get yourself some chicken with the world’s greatest garlic sauce. You can thank me later.

A selection of delicious Lebanese desserts.

After you go to El Jannah, make sure you pop around the corner for some Abla’s pastry. This place is massive, but get one of the servers to help you select and you’ll be in sweets heaven.

Custard Pudding Toppo.

Mmm, Japanese treats. I still have a bag of them under my bed for emergencies.
