Salmon is my favourite.
Mixed tempura. Gooooood!
A little pre-dinner sake.
How do you eat these large rolls?! Too big to fit in my mouth in one go, too messy to eat in parts. These are designed to make me look stupid.
Deluxe sushi platter. I was left pleasantly full after this, though it didn’t stop us from getting Messina afterward!
Sushi counter’s counter.
Sushi Counter actually feels a bit like those little family run sushi restaurants in Japan. There’s the wife helping out the back and the husband making the sushi at the front. It’s not the cheapest sushi around, but you can tell it’s really good quality and prepared by a chef who knows what he’s doing. Plus they serve an ume-shu and edamame set for only $6.50! Nice.
Mmm sushi… How can you be so delicious and so healthy? I could eat you almost ever day for the rest of my life and be happy.
Tip: Ask for a seat at the counter watch the chef prepare my sushi and sashimi platter.
